Why Aventura patients seek care in Brickell
Aventura patients who reach out for ketamine therapy often do so after considerable deliberation — the 30–40 minute I-95 drive is longer than most other areas we serve, which means the decision to pursue treatment usually reflects a genuine need rather than a casual inquiry. Many arrive with an extensive prior treatment history: multiple antidepressants, multiple providers, and sometimes prior experience with specialty psychiatric care that did not produce lasting improvement. That clinical complexity is something we are equipped to work with. For seasonal residents, Brickell is also a known destination for healthcare, and a course of ketamine infusions can often be coordinated to fit within a planned Miami stay.
Who from Aventura typically seeks treatment
Aventura and the surrounding North Miami Beach area have a significant older adult population, including many seasonal residents and retirees who have managed mood conditions for years without finding an adequate long-term solution. We also see middle-aged professionals from Sunny Isles Beach and Hallandale managing depression, anxiety, or chronic pain conditions that have proved resistant to conventional approaches. For seasonal residents, coordinating a full course of treatment — typically 6 sessions over 2–3 weeks — within a planned Miami stay is something we can discuss during an initial phone or email consultation before their arrival.
From Aventura to our Brickell office
A direct route south from Aventura via I-95 or Biscayne Boulevard into Brickell.
Plan on 30–40 minutes via I-95 south; Biscayne Boulevard is slower but steadier when the highway backs up.
All treatment takes place at our single office: 40 SW 13th St #406, Miami, FL 33130 — in the Infinity office building in Brickell. We do not operate satellite locations, so every patient receives care in the same private, medically supervised setting.
Where to park when you arrive
Valet at our building (about $13) or metered street parking near SW 13th St. Given the longer trip, many Aventura patients prefer being dropped off at the building entrance.
Planning your ride home
This is the longest trip home among the areas we serve, so plan it deliberately: you cannot drive for the rest of the day after an infusion, and a rideshare back to Aventura typically runs 35–45 minutes. A companion who drives both ways — with a quiet stop if you want one — is the setup most Aventura patients choose.
This isn't a formality — it's part of safe treatment. After your infusion you'll rest in our office through a monitored recovery period, and you should keep the remainder of the day unscheduled. Effects and recovery experiences vary from person to person.
