Why Coconut Grove patients seek care in Brickell

Coconut Grove has a quieter, more established character than much of Miami — a neighborhood of mature trees, older homes, and a community that tends to approach health decisions deliberately rather than impulsively. Patients from the Grove who seek out IV ketamine therapy often come after years of trying other approaches: multiple medication trials, sustained therapy, lifestyle interventions. The drive up US-1 or the Metrorail from Coconut Grove station is straightforward, and many patients value the fact that our Brickell office is a separate, calm environment from their everyday surroundings. That small geographic and psychological distance from home and neighbors is something Grove residents frequently mention as meaningful.

Who from Coconut Grove typically seeks treatment

Coconut Grove patients we see most often include adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s dealing with chronic depression that has not responded to standard antidepressants, as well as people with anxiety or PTSD rooted in life experiences years in the past. We also serve families supporting a family member in accessing care — the Grove community places a high value on discretion and on working with a specific, known provider rather than a rotation of staff. Our APRN-led model answers both of those concerns directly. Patients and families are encouraged to reach out by phone or email for an initial conversation before committing to an evaluation.

From Coconut Grove to our Brickell office

North on US-1 (South Dixie Highway) or the quieter South Miami Avenue/Bayshore route into Brickell.

About 10–15 minutes from the Center Grove; a few minutes more from South Grove, traffic depending.

All treatment takes place at our single office: 40 SW 13th St #406, Miami, FL 33130 — in the Infinity office building in Brickell. We do not operate satellite locations, so every patient receives care in the same private, medically supervised setting.

Where to park when you arrive

Valet at our building (about $13) or metered street parking around SW 13th St. The Metrorail is an option too — Vizcaya or Coconut Grove station to Brickell station, then a short walk or Metromover hop.

Planning your ride home

Plan for a 10–20 minute rideshare back to the Grove, or have a trusted driver pick you up — you cannot drive for the rest of the day after an infusion. The Bayshore route home is a gentle, low-stimulation drive many patients prefer after a session.

This isn't a formality — it's part of safe treatment. After your infusion you'll rest in our office through a monitored recovery period, and you should keep the remainder of the day unscheduled. Effects and recovery experiences vary from person to person.
