Why Miami Beach patients seek care in Brickell

Miami Beach's social environment — dense, visible, and heavily networked — can make seeking mental health care feel like a public act for people who have built their identity around appearing well. Our Brickell location is separated from the Beach by the bay, which matters to residents who want care that is genuinely private and distant from their social circles. The causeway crossing is a small logistical step that many patients appreciate as a mental boundary between their treatment day and their everyday life. Beyond the privacy consideration, the Beach's seasonal rhythm — high-energy winters, quieter and intensely hot summers — creates real patterns in mood and motivation that many long-term residents manage year after year.

Who from Miami Beach typically seeks treatment

Miami Beach has both a large permanent resident population and a significant community of long-term seasonal residents, and we see patients from both groups. Permanent residents — particularly those who have lived on the Beach for years and recognize the seasonal rhythm of mood changes that comes with summer heat, disrupted routines, and shifting social density — frequently present with anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Seasonal residents sometimes prioritize treatment during their Miami stay. Both groups benefit from care that can be discussed by phone or email before any in-person visit, and we accommodate those initial conversations as part of our standard intake.

From Miami Beach to our Brickell office

A direct drive over the MacArthur or Julia Tuttle Causeway into Brickell.

About 15–25 minutes: MacArthur Causeway from South Beach, Julia Tuttle from Mid-Beach and North Beach — causeway traffic is the main variable.

All treatment takes place at our single office: 40 SW 13th St #406, Miami, FL 33130 — in the Infinity office building in Brickell. We do not operate satellite locations, so every patient receives care in the same private, medically supervised setting.

Where to park when you arrive

Valet at our building (about $13) or metered street parking around SW 13th St. If a companion drives you, the building's drop-off makes arrival simple after the causeway.

Planning your ride home

You cannot drive for the rest of the day after an infusion, so plan the causeway trip home in advance: a rideshare to the Beach typically runs 20–30 minutes. South Beach patients often prefer the MacArthur route home for its shorter surface-street stretch.

This isn't a formality — it's part of safe treatment. After your infusion you'll rest in our office through a monitored recovery period, and you should keep the remainder of the day unscheduled. Effects and recovery experiences vary from person to person.
